DC Kulgam reviews arrangements for Jumat-ul-vida, Shab-e-Qadr, Eid-ul-Fitr

KULGAM, APRIL 25 (RNA): The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Dr Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din-Bhat today reviewed the arrangements for forthcoming auspicious occasions of Shab-e-Qadr, Jumat ul Vida and Eid ul Fitr in a meeting with officers of different line departments.
On the occasion, the DC reviewed availability of drinking water, power, meat, poultry, ration and LPG in the district besides other essential items in markets.
The meeting was informed that a sufficient quantity of essential items including ration, fish, meat and chicken besides LPG gas is available for public consumption.
Meanwhile, DC directed officers to ensure uninterrupted supply of drinking water and electricity at peak hours.
He directed concerned to conduct sanitation and cleaning drives at Mosques and Shrines.
Regarding transport facility to the devotees who throng to shrines/mosques for congregational prayers, DC directed concerned officials to ensure that devotees do not face any inconvenience on those days.
The meeting was attended by ADDC, ADC, ACR and Ex. Engineers of PHE, PDD and R&B, CMO Health, ULB, Fire & Emergency, Animal Husbandry, Sheep Husbandry, FCS&CA, Legal Metrology and other departments.
