Assures to aide the general public in case of emergency


Srinagar, June 22 (RNA) : Apni Party Youth General Secretary, In-charge Eidgah Constituency and Corporator SMC Mohammad Ashraf Palpori on Wednesday visited Pamposh Colony in Eidgah to take note of the situation emerged due to heavy rainfall from past few days. Issuing a statement to the media, Palpori said that he was concerned about the situation developing because of unceasing rainfall and decided to visit the area to take cognizance of the situation in person. "The water logging has created immense inconvenience for the locals here and it is be my firm commitment with them to resolve this grave issue on prompt basis and bring in the concerned men and machinery on the front to tackle this problem," he said. Furthermore, Palpori on spot called the Chief Engineer Flood and Control Department, Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, SP North and other concerned officials while apprising them about the grievances of the people and sought their help to alleviate their sufferings at an earliest. The people of the area put forth various pending demands before Mohammad Ashraf Palpori to which he gave them assurance for a swift positive action. People lauded his efforts and concern besides pledging to diligently support Palpori in the upcoming Assembly Elections from Eidgah.
