Rafi Ahmad Mir reviewed arrangements of smooth and secure conduct of the Amarnath Yatris

Srinagar July 6 (RNA) : Former MLA and Apni Party General Secretary Rafi Ahmad Mir visited Chandanwari and took review of the arrangements made for the pilgrims of Amarnath Yatra. During his visit, he took account of arrangements pertaining to medical camps, power, portable drinking water supply, toilets and baths, sewage treatment plant, sanitation and langar (free kitchen) facilities. Besides this he also asked the concerned authorities to ensure cleanliness and hygienic conditions throughout the Yatra period. He also took account of Pahalgam - Chandanwari road and checked onto the traffic arrangements, emergency services and preparedness of security agencies. Appreciating the efforts of the concerned authorities, Mir expressed satisfaction over the to-date status of putting forth all the necessary arrangements on ground.
