PDP clarifies about rumours about Mehbooba Mufti's house arrest

Srinagar, Aug 04 ( RNA): Terming the stories appearing on social media regarding former Chief Minster Mehbooba Mufti's house arrest as "rumours", PDP Sunday morning clarified that the Party President wasn't under house arrest. Speaking to RNA two senior leaders of the party said that there was no " truth" in the rumours of her having been under house arrest.
Pertinently social media is abuzz from early morning about Miss Mufti's reported house arrest.
Meanwhile Police also has denied any such reports and said, they have not put her under any kind of restrictions.
" No, Srinagar district Police has not put her under house arrest. These are all rumours." a senior officer in the J&K Police told RNA. (RNA)
