SPARSH leprosy awareness campaign flagged off by CMO and BMO HQ Bandipora.

January 30, 2023 (RNA): DR Masarat Iqbal Wani BMO Bandipora started awareness for SPARSH leprosy awareness campaign in all heath institutions of Block Bandipora, which will remain in operation from 30th of January 2023to 13th of February 2023
The awareness will be given all health institutions of the district and spread the message of awareness about leprosy and help such persons in getting the treatment.
It was given out that Union Health Ministry has decided to organize a massive awareness campaign nationwide on the death anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi aimed at to intensify leprosy detection campaign to curb the crippling disease.
BMO Bandipora asked the officers to put in concerted efforts to make the awareness programme a success and instructed them to involve more workers,PRI,AWWs and ASHAs, besides appealed the people to cooperate in this Leprosy eradication awareness campaign.
Bandipora block celebrated this day with zest and zeal quoted BMO BANDIPORA.
