Those praising Rahul are extension wings of Congress AIP asks Rahul Gandhi why he is afraid of facing questions on J&K.

Srinagar Jan 30 (RNA) : AIP has accused Rahul Gandhi of adding salt to injuries of Kashmiris by maintaining silence on real issues J&K was facing. In a statement party spokesperson Firdous Baba said. "The way Rahul Gandhi confined himself to asking for restoration of statehood and restoring democratic process it has made clear that Congress has a no different policy on J&K than BJP. Modi Government too has been assuring time and again of restoring statehood and conducting assembly elections why should any one feel or expect something new from Rahul Gandhi if he too talks about these two issues only. It is disgusting that the way Rahul Gandhi avoided questions on history of broken promises his grandfather Nehru had made with the people of J&K from time to time. He did not also spoke anything on his stand over article 370. He needs to know that by avoiding questions on Nehru's history of broken promises and claiming he wanted to see only forward, he is simply following the principles of Nehru and Modi by advising Kashmiris to forget what the successive governments did to them. Mr Gandhi should collect a moral courage and either should support or oppose the abrogation of article 370." Firdous Baba expressed surprise over the support given by Gupkar Alliance to the BJY without getting any assurances from the Congress leaders over the issues on which Gupkar Alliance was formed. He added. "No regional party should befool people and by praising Rahul Gandhi they are hiding their own failures, their own compulsions and the own sincerity. The are acting like extension wings of Congress and should not underestimate the wisdom of people of Jammu and Kashmir. Kashmiris know it better that these Congress or BJP both are using sufferings of Kashmiris for their political benifits in the other parts of the country." Spokesperson further lashed out at Rahul Gandhi for claiming that holding tricolour at Lal Chowk he has kept the promise he had made to people of India. Spokesperson said. "It looks that Rahul want nothing but to counter Modi by hoisting tricolour at Lal Chowk, which was not initially in his program. He and anyone else need to be reminded that the way sending feelers as if hoisting tricolour at Lal Chowk means conquering J&K, is nothing but to mislead the people in the country about the sufferings of Kashmiris. It is unfortunate that the PDP leader Mehbooba Mufti has compared hoisting tricolour by Rahul Gandhi with the similar event in 1948 when Nehru had hoisted the tricolour at Lal Chowk. She should know that the sufferings of Kashmiris started infact from the same day when Nehru and Sheikh Abdullah addressed the gathering at Lal Chowk but unfortunately forgot their own words which they spoke to the people on the occasion." Spokesperson reminded Mehbooba Mufti that by hoisting tricolour by Rahul Gandhi at Lal Chowk was similar like the one she had been trying to justify her alliance with BJP but people are mature enough to understand the fact of every issue.
