BHSS Uri Organised One Day Multilingual Poetic Seminar

Srinagar May 27 (RNA) : Today on 27 May 2023 a multilingual poetic seminar was organised by BHSS Uri in collaboration with JK Aman Amaan Cultural Club. The program was presided over by Mr Mushtaq Sopori Principal BHSS Uri. The program started with the recitation of the Holy Quran followed by Naat. The poets who recited their poems in Kashmiri, Urdu, Pahari and Gojri during the program include Mr Attaullah Mumtaz,Mr Shah Mohammad (ZEO Uri) Mr Iqbal Sarhadi, Mr Taj Din Taj, Mr Faisal Mehmood Khokher and Rafiq Ahmad Khokher. Speaking on the occasion Mr Mushtaq Sopori thanked Aman Amaan Cultural Club and other literary Personalities present over there. Mr Sopori said that organising such events enhance the sense of cultural harmony among the budding generation. During his speech he also retariated that we at BHSS Uri are always there to provide a platform for such educational and cultural events. The seminar was attended by noted Writers, Poets, Columnists, Civil Society Members , Advocates including Mr Qazi Muhammad, Mr Azad Ahmad Khan, Principal BHSS Uri Mr Mushtaq Sopori, Advocate Shabir Ahmad Mangral, Advocate Mumtaz Beigh, Advocate Sajad Banday, Sheikh Mehtab President JK Aman Amaan Cultural Club, Mr. Mohd Altaf Khan Vice President JK Aman Amaan Cultural Club, Mr Syed Mohammad Anwar Shah, Mr Yasir Arafat Banday, Mr Abdul Hamid Khatana, Mr Awaiz Ahmad, Teaching Faculty and Students of BHSS Uri. The stage was hosted by Mr Liyaqat Abbas. During the program various cultural items were also presented by Singer Farooq Safri, Rashad Ashraf Chechi and Rizwan Beigh(Student of BHSS Uri). Some senior journalists who attended the program include Mr Nadeem Khawaja KNS, Mr Zaffar Iqbal Sarhadi Times, Mr Aftab Kohistani ANN, Mr Adil Shabir Tameel i Irshad and Mr Nouman Aftab Voice of LOC Uri. The seminar concluded with a vote of thanks presented by Abid Shafi Vocational Trainer BHSS Uri.
