BDC Secretary Javaid Ah Sofi Visits Fire Victims, Assures Compensation

Wagoora, May 27, 2023 (RNA):As per the direction of Ghulam Mohiudin Sofi BDC Wagoora & District President BJP Baramulla, BDC Secretary Javaid Ah Sofi visited the fire victims from Kalantra-Payeen on Saturday and assured them of compensation from the government. Sofi, who was accompanied by Tehsildar Wagoora and Naib Tehsildar, met the victims and took stock of the damage caused by the fire. He assured them that the government would provide them with all the necessary assistance. "I have talked to the concerned authorities and they have assured me that the victims will be compensated," Sofi said. "I will also do my best to help them from my side." The fire broke out in Kalantra-Payeen on Friday and destroyed Three houses. The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained. The victims thanked Sofi for his visit and assured him of their cooperation in the relief and rehabilitation process. Sofi's visit comes as a major relief to the victims, who have been struggling to cope with the aftermath of the fire.
