G. M Shaheen pays homage to martyrs of Karbala

Srinagar 18 August (RNA): Paying rich homage to the martyrs of Karbala on the eve of Ashura Muharram,Janata dal ( united) Jammu and Kashmir's state president Mr G M SHAHEEN has said that Imam Hussain (AS) symbolises the firm faith in almighty, high principles of righteousness, purity of thought and highest degree of sacrifice to uphold truth and human dignity.
Shaheen said Imam Hussain and his companions exhibited unparalleled courage and patience and made historic sacrifices at Karbala.
Paying rich tributes to Hazrat Imam Hussain (AS) and his companions on the eve of Ashura, shaheen urged the people to follow the principles of the martyrs of Karbala to ensure a just society which believes in equal rights for everyone and symbolizes love for each other.
Shaheen prayed for the peace and well being of the U T and its people.
