FCIK team led by Kamli makes detailed presentation to PSC on Commerce

Srinagar, Aug 24 (RNA): Stressing FCIK upon the infrastructure development to boost the exports, the FCIK has urged for Immediate restoration of iCDS at Rangreth industrial estate,Incentivise the exports especially the iT sector to 2.0 percent depending on employment. Fesration's President Shahid Kamli made a detailed presentation in this regard with PSC.
In a statement to RNA, Fesration said that much stress was laid by president to create ( Theme Kashmir) and intense branding of kashmir products to boost them in international market
FCIK president stressed upon the parliamentary delegation to advice all embassies / consulates all over the globe to arrange exhibitions for kashmir products And ministry of commerce to fund/ incentivise the travel expenses along with the freight for goods to be exhibited
Arrange B2B meetings inbtwn the trade bodies
Besides this FCIK have stressed PSC to impress upon the banks to provide enough working capital for purchase of goods frm basic manufacturers and then export to buyers without any hassle
FCIK informed the PSc tht last year fcik took a lead in launching GI tagged safron to world market in UAE and apples
which resulted in GOvt to provide incentive on freight for apples / fresh fruit
Fcik informed the house tht last year we were able to pump in around 3500 mts to UAE
FCIK also emphases on export oriented units to be created in special zones SEZ
FCIK highlighted tht 17000 crores have been provided to Msme of J&K in which majority share is of J&K bank ie 13500 crs and rest 3500 crs are provided by all PSU and other banks which is a grave matter of concern and the PSC on commerce expressed grave displeasure towards the banks.RNA
