Field Outreach Bureau,Srinagar organizes ICOP on Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.


Srinagar,August 28,2021+RNA): As part of the 'Iconic Week Celebrations' of Ministry of Information & Broadcasting,Govt of India under Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav,Field Outreach Bureau,Srinagar today organized a mini Integrated Communication and Outreach Programme(ICOP) at Srinagar.
 
 The one day long programme was held at Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Kothibagh Srinagar. 
 
The programme was aimed at sensitizing the people especially the youths about the vision behind celebration of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav and to pay tributes to the unsung heros of the India's freedom struggle. The event carried the message of the Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi for political,cultural and economic revival of India under the vision India 2.0 and Aatm Nirbhar Bharat.
Speakers stressed on the need to follow the ideals that have inspiired our national struggle for freedom and also called upon the youth to lead the way by individual as well as collective efforts to usher a new age of a Self Reliant India.
 
Students participated in the eloquence, drawing and quiz competitions during the programme and the Private Registerd Troupes (PRT) of ROB,J&K presented cultural programmes during the event.
 
The programme was attended by the Ms Nusrat Bukhari, Principal,Govt. Girls Higher Secondary School Kothibagh,staff and students of the institution. Other dignitaries present included officers from various media units of Ministry of Information & Broadcasting including Sh. Qazi Salman, Head of Doordarshan News, Srinagar, Sh. Ghulam Abass,Deputy Director Press Information Bureau,Srinagar, Sh Shabir Ahmad Dar,News Editor,DD News Srinagar,Sh Ishfaq Ahmad Shah,News Editor ,All India Radio,Srinagar and Sh. Shahid Mohammd Lone,Field Publicity Officer,Anantnag. Others who were present included Sh. Mohammad Iqbal Khan,Field Publicity Assistant,FOB Srinagar and Sh. Sikander,FPA Srinagar.
 
Under Iconic Week Celebrations fom 23-29 August,2021,a series of activities are being organized throughout different parts of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh by Regional Outreach Bureau,J&K region which include Exhibitions, Quizzes,drawing and poster making competitions,slogan writing and webinars on varied themes.
