DC Ramban Flags-off “Mission Save Lives J&K Tour 2024” from Administrative Complex
RAMBAN, MAY 09 (RNA) : Deputy Commissioner, Ramban, Baseer–Ul-Haq Chaudhary today flagged off Road Safety Awareness Tour “Mission Save Lives J&K Tour 2024” from District Administrative Complex, Maitra.
Additional Deputy Commissioner, Varunjeet Singh Charak, ACP Ashfaq Ahmed Kanji, DSEO, Ganesh Kumar, Tehsildar, Deep Kumar, ALC Amit Kumar, AD FCS&CA, Anayat Ullah, Chairman Kashmir Road Safety Foundation, Nasir Ali Khan and various senior officers were also present.
Speaking on the occasion the Deputy Commissioner praised the endeavour of Kashmir Road Safety Foundation for spreading awareness, educate communities, and implement measures to enhance road safety in UT of Jammu Kashmir.
The Deputy Commissioner also urged the people to adhere to the road safety rules and measures while driving /travelling on the NH-44, other highways and link roads. He said that District Administration in coordination with Police, Traffic police, and MVD is regularly holding awareness programmes on road safety across the district to minimize the road accident.
It's worth mentioning that the "Mission Save Lives J&K Tour 2024" was officially launched by the Lieutenant Governor of J&K on May 2, 2024. This initiative aims to cover all districts of J&K, spreading awareness about the significance of road safety and to save precious lives.
