Respond to phone calls of Stranded people, bring them back. Congress tells Authorities


Srinagar, May 05 ( RNA) : Srinagar District Committee (DCC) today expressed serious concern over the plight of citizens of Srinagar stranded in Bengal and other Parts in the Country, urging the UT Administration to bring them back.
The Srinagar District Congress Committee (DCC) President Abdul Gani Khan  has said that UT Administration must focus on the pathetic condition of stranded people in different Parts of the Country, although various announcements and descions have been taken, but these seems to have not been implemented on the ground.
Khan said there were numerous complains that the authorities deputed on this job did not respond to phone calls made by the stranded people, which has to corrected, there should no place for confusion, as that, people were passing through very difficult situation, he said.
I have received so many calls from West Bengal from Srinagar residents other resident of different Parts in Kashmir, having complained that no one from the UT Administration responded even after dialing them thousands of times, which is very unfortunate, DCC President said
DCC President reiterated that UT Administration must come clean on this issue and ensure that stranded people return their native places without facing further hardships, he added
