DGP Compliments Police, forces for Begipora operation
Says, real heroes of the operation were DIG South and SSP Awantipora.
Srinagar, May 07 ( RNA) : Director General Of Police Dilbagh Singh has complimented the Police and other forces for the Begipora operation and said the operation was very significant and police had to tread cautiously to avoid collateral damages. Speaking to media at Srinagar, Mr. Singh said that the ‘real hero’ of the operation was DIG South along with SSP Awantipora who made it sure that everything goes well. The DGP also complemented CRPF, Army and other forces involved in the operation.
Meanwhile DGP while speaking about COVID appreciated the role of Imams of the mosques for convincing people to avoid congregational prayers even during the month of Ramdhan and said the religious clerics and preachers had done a tremendous job which needs to be appreciated. RNA
