Qayoom Wani urges people to buy apples to help minimise damages to the industry

Srinagar, May 17 ( RNA): Former EJAC President and Civil Society activist ,Ab Qayoom wani sunday apealed locals to buy apples inorder to boost the industry and compensate the damages caused to the industry by COVID pandemic lockdown . In a statement to RNA, Wani said, "all of us are aware that owing to lockdown thousands of tons of apple could not be sent outside market this is seriously even dangerously affecting apple growers and economy of kashmir , I mean all of us collectively , I don't think it needs much elobration to any of us. What I want to emphasize in millions of words is this that our collective conscience must awake and be practical. Apple is the best fruit no two words about that.Now, therefore as a humble Civil Society Member would like to all people in general, friends and acquaintances in particular to specially buy apple for your families, your relations and friends.I must say that everyone may share this message to the maximum possible circle of friends. I shall also like to appeal the merchants to sell it at minimum possible profit and make home delivery arrangements . "
