Statement of President Private Schools Association unfortunate and uncalled for.

Srinagar, May 18 (RNA) : Senior trade union leader Mohd Rafique Rather has strongly reacted to the statement of President Private Schools association calling it unfortunate and uncalled for.He said that President PSA has tried to demean the credibility and integrity of goverenment teachers by calling them backdoor entries.

In a statement to RNA, Mr.Rather lashed out at the statement and said that President PSA should not try to divert the attention instead should focus on the burning issues of salary of private school teachers, who are made to suffer for no fault of theirs.Rafique Rather said he is personally a staunch suppoter of private sector to flourish because private sector has taken over allmost all major sectors of life including education but at the same time importance of goverenment sector can not be undermined on the pretext of falsly created notions. He said that goverenment teachers have been working in very difficult and adverse situations in farflong areas which are not even accessable and have shown encouraging results, expressing doubt on their appointment is simply an attempt to demonise their efforts and integrity aswell, which can not be tolerated.
Rather Demandedd iimmediate and unconditional apology from president PSA for his verbal abuse of teachers in a tele statement yesterday.Rafique Rather expressed hope that President PSA will desist from issueing such irresponsible statements aimed at disgracing teaching community as a whole and urged upon him to instead make it sure that teachers working in private sector are paid their salaries of without any furture delay. because they are suffering badly in the Holly month of Ramzan.
