Qayoom Wani extends Eid greetings to people the

Srinagar, May 22 ( RNA) : Former EJAC leader and Civil Soceity Activist Ab. Qayoom Wani has greeted people on the auspicious occassion of Eid ul Fitr. In a stament to RNA, Wani said, " The Holy Month of Ramzan has just passed but it taught us different lessons. The good things that we learnt this month need to be followed throughout the year. Ramzan is a training session which makes us Train and ready for all challenges throughout the year. I wish the entire Ummah to follow the guidelines of Islam in letter and Spirit." The statment furtehr reads,  " Eid isn't something to put on new clothes but it is to renew ourselves. It is to add happiness to the worries of others. It is to share the pain of other's. Eid can't be celebrated happily unless we add happiness to other's grief and distress.

I wish you to celebrate this Eid happily but don't forget those innocents who have been put behind bars. Remember them and make special Prayers for them. I wish you to share your joy with their family members. We must not forget that the Entire world is going through the deadly virus which has added sufferings to the entire world Population. We should make special dua/prayer to overcome from this distress provided by this virus. We must share our sympathies with those declared Positive for Covid19 and their family Members.

I humbly appeal the rich section and employees of Jammu and Kashmir to remember widows, Orphans, Labours, Transporters, People affiliated with Tourism and People living Below Poverty Line. These sections of Society have been seriously and badly hit since abbrogation of Article 370 and now with lockdown amid Covid 19. We should be a part of their happiness.

I Pay my hearty Eid Greetings to the entire muslim Ummah in general and the People of Jammu and Kashmir in Particular. May this Eid bring an end to all our worries. " RNA
