Shaukat Masoodi elected President of Kupwara Traders Federation

Kupwara, Dec 31 ( RNA): Noted social activist and trader, Shaukat Masoodi Thursday has been elected as President for Kupwara Trade Union . He secured 491 votes whereas his nearest rival Mohammad Amin Bhat ended up securing second 425 votes. According to RNA reporter , six contestents were in fray for the top post of the trade body. Haji Gh.Ahmad Mir secured 406, Mohd Maqbool Malik 52,Gh Mohd Mir 161 and Iqbal Haneef secured 39 votes. Meanwhile Chairman Media Association Kupwara Javid Zarger and Shabir Mlaik have congratulated Masoodi for his win. RNA
