Bandipora Police held Swachhata Pledge Ceremony in all its Police Establishments in the district.

 

Bandipora 02/10/2021: Today on the 152 Birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi (Gandhi Jayanti) Bandipora Police held *Swachhta Pledge Ceremony* in all Police establishments of the district including DPO Bandipora to remember the thoughts of Mahatma Gandhi for a clean and neat nation. 

 

 The main function was held at DPL Bandipora where Sr.Superintendent of Police Shri Mohammad Zahid-JKPS and DySP DAR Bandipora Shri. Ishfaq Alam alongwith other officers and officials took the Swachhta Pledge as a *Symbol of Swachta Bharat Abiyaan* a cleanliness drive was also initiated.

 

SSP Bandipora on the occasion said that, “A clean India would be the best tribute India could pay to Mahatma Gandhi ji on his 152 birth anniversary. He gave the overview of the swachhta mission launched by PM Shri. Narendra Modi and also emphasized the importance of maintaining cleanliness in and around the surrounding environment where we live he emphasized upon the officials that we must start this exercise from our homes.
