The ongoing *Khel* *Mahotsava* has imbued the youth of Boniyar in the colours of joy, they riding high on the sporting Spirit are displaying their special talent on the playfields in the picturesque backdrop of the *Pir Panjal*.
*Boniyar Khel Mahotsava*an initiative by Indian Army commenced on 05 Sep aimed at channelizing the energy of youth in positive direction and keep them away from the Drug Menace.
After high octane Football contests and acrobatic performances during Day Night Kabaddi, this time the *Daughters of Boniyar* stepped out to prove their skills on the Kho Kho field.
*08 Schools and it's 124* Participants volunteered for the *Girls Kho Kho Championship which commenced on 30 Sep as part of Khel Mahotsava*.
The zeal and enthusiasm of the players was evident during the electrifying duels on the Playgrounds.
The Final match was played on 02 Oct 21 between High Secondary School Bernate and Boniyar.
The event witnessed heavy footfall for three days and large audience turned up for supporting the Daughters of Boniyar during the finale.
Khel Mahotsava has lit up the atmosphere in this part of Baramulla District, with youth and locals expressing their gratitude towards Army for undertaking the initiative which has revitalized the spirit of youth and its impact on curbing Drug Menace.
