Baramulla Police celebrated “GANDHI JAYANTI”, took Swachhta Pledge and conducted cleanliness drive across the district

Baramulla Police today celebrated "Gandhi Jayanti” in all Police establishments of district.

 

While celebrating the day, a pledge was taken by the Police Officers/Jawans and the pledge was read out and administered by respective heads of police establishments and cleanliness drive was also conducted in and around the police establishments.

 

The main function was held at DPL Baramulla where DySP DAR DPL Baramulla Dr. Peerzada Aijaz Ahmad-JKPS accompanied by DySP Hqrs Baramulla Syed Sajad Bukhari-JKPS administered pledge to the jawans and officers that Mahatma Gandhi dreamt to celebrate free India but with clean and developed environment. He secured freedom for mother India. Now its becomes our duty that we will remain committed towards cleanliness and devote time for this. Everyone alongwith family, locality, village and work place and will encourage other people for the cause. We will also devote time throughout the year for clealiness and will not indulge in littering the environment and now allow it to happen which will definitely help in making my country clean.
