Fit India campaign: DLSA Pulwama organizes Marathon Run
PULWAMA, OCTOBER 08: The District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Pulwama in collaboration with Chief Education Officer Pulwama today organised a marathon run under ‘Fit India Campaign’, with an aim to generate awareness among the common masses about the value of healthy lifestyle.
About 50 students including girls and boys from different schools, age groups besides other staff members of the Court participated in this programme.
Secretary DLSA Pulwama, Choudhary Reyaz Ahmad, flagged off around 2000m Marathon run, at Sports Stadium Pulwama.
Speaking on the occasion, the Secretary highlighted the importance of physical and mental fitness in the development of a healthy society. He said that the main objective of organizing this awareness rally is to sensitize the common masses especially youth about the Fit India campaign launched by the Government of India.
He said that running is a very important exercise for human health, through which the chances of getting 99 percent diseases are less. So bring the right food and run in your daily routine.
While congratulating the participants, he said that the race is very beneficial for our life and our health.
Later the participants were felicitated by the Secretary DLSA Pulwama.
