DLSA Udhampur hosts Marathon to promote ‘Fit India Campaign’

 

JAMMU, OCTOBER 08: District Legal Services Authority, (DLSA) Udhampur today organised a Marathon to promote “Fit India Campaign“.

 

The Marathon was organized as part of the ongoing Pan India Awareness and Outreach Campaign under the aegis of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav. The Marathon was flagged off by the Chairman DLSA, Y.P. Bourney (Pr. District & sessions Judge) from District Court Complex to Sher-e-Kashmir Police Academy.

 

The Secretary DLSA accompanied by the Panel Lawyers and all the PLVs of the District participated in the Marathon along with other participants.

 

Later, the Undersigned thanked all the participants and felicitated the First Three Winners of the Marathon. Advocate Mallikarjun Singh Slathia emerged as winner, while Advocate Nikileshwar Singh stood Second and PLV Sham Sharma finished as Third in the Marathon.

 

On the occasion, the Secretary also felicitated Father Robert, Yesudeep Sandhu, President, NGO Mission Peace and Compassion Healing the Wounded Humanity and District President, J&K Ex-Servicemen League Dalbir Singh who assisted in the smooth conduct of the Marathon. The “Fit India Campaign” was also organized by the TLSCs Ramnagar, Chenani and Majalta at their respective places. The Marathon concluded with the media briefing by the Secretary DLSA thanking all the participants and propagating the message of “Fit India “.
