ITI RS Pura conducts cleanliness drive; Participants take Swachhta Pledge

 

JAMMU, OCTOBER 11: To vow for maintaining cleanliness and Sanitation, Swachhta Shapath ceremony was held today in Government ITI R.S.Pura. The Superintendent, all Staff members as well as Trainees of the Institute took the Swachhta pledge. The session began with an introduction to Swachhta, its importance, role of citizens and pledge taken by all the participants to maintain cleanliness all around and to achieve the objective of a clean country and a clean world. The initiatives will encourage the participants to develop a sense of responsibility in cleaning and protecting the environment for the betterment of society.

 

Later, a Plogging event was held in the campus during which the faculty members and students collected single-use plastic and other waste material.
