Training programme held at DHS Jammu


Jammu, July 20 (RNA): Health Department's NRHM wing Saturday organised a training program of National Biomedical Equipment Maintenance and Management Programme at Directorate Of Health Services-Jammu.

According to RNA , this was in continuation to the already kick started programme under the aegis of Atull Dhuloo Financial Commissioner H&ME and Mission Director, NHM Bupendar kumar IAS in collaboration with State Health Society NHM and Medicity Healthcare Pvt Ltd Hyderabad.

Dr Masarat Iqbal Wani State Programme Manager welcomed the participants and delivered detailed lecture on Introduction of National Biomedical Equipment Maintenance and Management Program and its scope that has been rolled out in Hospitals under the DHS-Jammu. While emphasizing upon the District and Block Level Officers including Medical Superintendents of districts and sub district officers including CMOs of Jammu, Samba, Kathua Division, State Programme Manager Dr.Masarat Iqbal Wani explored possibilities of scientific interactions helping out the participants to overcome clarifications with regard to the systematic launching of said programme with its modalities of elevations.

All the Chief Medical Officers, Block Medical Officers and Superintendents of District & Sub District Hospitals of all three districts were present in the said workshop.

While projecting the scheme launched in the interest of patient care to ensure 24 hrs services for maintain and managing equipment machinery, the participants were asked to remain in close liaison with Mediciti Personnel’s and state programme manager.

The representative from Mediciti gave a detailed presentation and had interaction session with the participants to ensure successful management of the scheme launched by the government in the interest of patient care. The launching of such schemes being need of the hour was hailed by the professionals and participants which shall definitely consume less time in order to rectify or repair any kind of equipment /machinery in the interest of patient care.

Chief Medical Officer of Jammu Dr Danish and Dr Rajinder Singh CMO-Samba,while deliberating upon the programme asked the participants to focus on modalities of scheme that definitely can overcome the difficulties what were being faced earlier by the administrators. And, in a point of fact conveyed their eagerness to welcome this prestigious program wholeheartedly while also conveyed their sincere thanks to Er. Bhupinder Kumar IAS, MD NHM J&K. As such fast track management programmes shall ultimately reflect augmented and tuned work culture to depict professional enthusiasm there of.

Participants assured their full cooperation in getting the asset mapping and registration of all Biomedical Equipment on the dashboard being the backbone of this programme, as conveyed by worthy MD NHM, earlier.

CMO Jammu, whi’s chairing the session, while concluding the session, also assured his full support over getting this program implemented in letter and spirits.

Needless to mention that Mapping & Tagging process already started at Government Gandhi Nagar Hospital Jammu and near completion too; As MD-NHM already instructed the mapping teams and officials to accomplish the process well within stipulated time, rather conclude it well within next 2 months time at the utmost.
