Farooq, Omar meet with PM Modi, opposition asks what is the outcome?

Was it to seek mercy for economic crimes: asks Sajad Lone

Srinagar, Aug 01 (RNA): With National Conference Vice President and former Chief Minister Omar Abdullah claiming that they had asked Prime minster to let sub-juidice matters be settled by the courts , the opposition parties in Jammu and Kashmir have raised doubts over the outcome of the meeting saying, demanding Omar to let the public now about the Prime minister’s response.
According to RNA, People’s Conference Chairman Sajad Gani Lone while casting doubts on the intentions of the NC leaders meeting PM, asked if the purpose of the meeting was to seek ‘mercy’ for the what he said – economic crimes.
“Reports suggest Omar Abdullah and Farooq Abdullah to meet PM Modi regarding Article 35-A. What on earth happened to the supposed collective action. Is it a rush for brownie points or mercy petition for economic crimes. The innocent people of Kashmir will never know this.” Tweeted PC Chairman.
Meanwhile PUF leader and AIP Chairman Engineer Rashid also raised doubts on the meeting and asked Omar Abdullah about the outcome of the meeting.
“ Nice about that but you are not saying even a word about response of Prime Minster. People are interested in that thing only. Please make Mr. Modi’s response public & also tell us why are you avoiding all party meeting sir.” Tweeted Rashid in response to Omar’s tweet reading their meeting with PM. (RNA)
