Advisors inaugrate Sports facilities at Bandipora

Bandipora, Aug 01 (RNA): Advisors to Governor K Vijay Kumar, Kewal Kumar Sharma and K Skandan on Thursday jointly inaugurated newly installed facility of flood lights at Sher-e-Kashmir Stadium Bandipora.
The flood lights installed at the cost of Rs 75 lakhs have brought cheers among the sports lovers of the district as the night matches including football and cricket will soon be played in the stadium.
The advisors also inaugurated the instant playfield at Lankargund Panchayat at Gundpora constructed byt Rural development department under convergence scheme at the cost of Rs 17.50 lakhs.
The advisors congratulated the people for getting the flood lights facility for the stadium and hoped that the Day-Night matches will be the new attraction for the sports lovers and shall draw crowds to witness the matches.
The advisors also laid the foundation stone for the construction of synthetic athletic track under Khelo India. All the three advisors participated in a voley ball match played between two local teams. (RNA)
