JKPM committed to solve genuine problems of people: Mohd Ramzan

Urges district administration Kulgam to provide relief to Snow affected farmers.


Kulgam, Aug 01 (RNA): JKPM Vice President and ex - secretary Legislative Assembly, Mohd Ramzan has expressed his concern over the non payment of relief to farmers of Noorabad constituency who's crops were damaged due to untimely snow fall in last November. He said though the relief has been disbursed to some snow affected farmers but a large number of affected families have been kept unpaid till date. 

During his visit to Mazgam village of Noorabad constituency today, Mohd Ramzan met a large number of deputations who complained about non payment of relief to them adding that only a small number of farmers was paid relief in lieu of colossal damage caused to their standing crops and fresh fruits due to untimely snow fall in November last.He was informed by the farmers of the area that about a dozen villages, whch were badly hit by the untimely snow,have been totally ignored by the damage assessment teams.These villages include Khuribatpora,Bagbal ,Avil ,Lisarpora ,Hallan ,chog-alpora ,Khull ,Ahmadabad, Ringat , Malwan and Puhloo villages.
Mohd Ramzan has asked the district administration Kulgam to take a fresh review of the case so that genuine grievances of the affected farmers are redressed at the earliest. He assured the affected farmers that JKPM will leave no stone unturned to get them justice and will continue its fight for the genuine cause of the hitherto neglected people of all the three regions of the state. Khuribatpora,Bagbal ,Avil , Lissarpora ,Hallan , Reiwattan, Reiwattan ,chog-alpora ,Khull, Ahmadabad, Ringat , Malwan and Puhloo villages.
