A Doctor who rain medical camp on cart of hawker in 2014 floods
Says, Status and decorum go to filthy drain ,my honor is to relieve sufferings of ailing flood victims and patients who are trapped inside houses

Srinagar, Aug 01 (RNA): Dr Imtiaz Ahmed Wani presently Consultant Surgery at SDH Kreeri, got trapped in flood at his home on Sunday September 6,2014,after ferocious flood ravaged Civil lines and adjacent areas of Sringar.Loud horrifying cries of being got sick, need of treatment with medicine were screaming in this flood ravaged area .Dr Imtiaz Wani reached roof of his house, started hearing complaints through man to man talk on rooftops and windows from house to house , using same way for conveying medical advice and treatment. Medicine which were collected samples from medical representatives before floods given through same chain of humans on rooftops and via windows.
Saw apathy and agony all around in non reachable areas with no official or NGO help available on the ground. The doctor alongwith medicine was drifted by few locals through dangerous floods after tying rope to his body to reach spot where more and more poeple could be reached.
An emergency medical camp was started by doctor on Cart used by hawker
for fruit selling . From this cart ,medical camp was run and thousands of ailing flood victims were treated and free medicine was delivered to sick trapped inside houses who could not reach emergency camp on cart.The doctor applauded and paid special thanks to medical representatives of Sopore and Baramulla division of systopic,Aristo,Centaur,Torrent,Glenmark,Mankind,Macmillan,Ipca,Lupin,Alembic,Sun,Zydus Cadila,Astraazin,Intas,Xena Pharma,Seagull,Blessings Healthcare and USV for their free samples of medicine which proved life saving in this dangerous floods.
