Governor assured no announcement on Article 370, 35A, says Omar Abdullah

Srinaagar, Aug 03 (RNA): Amidst rising uncertainty, Vice -President National Conference Omar Abdullah has Saturday said that Governor of the state has assured his delegation that nothing regarding 370, 35-A or trifurcation is going to happen. According to RNA, Omar after meeting Governor in Srinagar said,
"We spoke about Article 370 and even Trifurcation with the Governor. He has assured us that nothing of this sort is going to happen, no announcement as such are to be made. The Governor has assured no announcement on Article 370, 35A and Trifurcation."
He however, added that.
"But we want that on Monday something from Parliament comes too. So that we understand why there was a need to end tourism in the country. I want to ask people to maintain calm. This is my request to people that we deal with the situation calmly," he added. (RNA)
