Says, Threatening mainstream leaders on corruption charges won't do.
Srinagar, Aug 03 (RNA): Regretting that Central Government has forgotten it's " Jamhuriyat, Kashmiriyat and Insaniyat" slogan, People's Democratic Party President Mehbooba Mufti Saturday said that where are those slogans now when they are asking all Yatris and tourists to come out from Kashmir and leaving the Kashmiris at the mercy of God.
" Where is your Insaniyat today when you are asking all Tourists , Yatris to come home and leave Kashmiris in distress. Aren't Kashmiris your own." Mehbooba asked without naming anyone.
According to RNA, speaking to Party workers from Srinagar at Party headquarters, Mehbooba said that she was ready to take bullet on her chest to protect article 370 and 35 -A . Asking her workers to get ready for any kind of fight to protect the special provisions of the state , the former Chief Minster said that there were apprehensions that mainstream political leaders including her could be arrested therefore it was necessary for party workers to continue the right even if she was behind the bars.
" You all are Mehbooba Mufti. Even if I am arrested , don't get scared. Continue fighting."
Mehbooba told workers.
She said that mainstream politicians are being frightened for their alleged involvements in corruption.
" Farooq sahab's case is an old one. They want to frighten him. We won't let them do so. There might be some of our leaders in all parties who might have some charges , but that doesn't mean you will scare them." We won't let it happen. She said.
She said we won't pick up guns but will fight tooth and nail to fight against he political onslaught. (RNA)
