Don’t know about tomorrow but today is all fine: Governor

says, have spoken to everybody in Delhi but nobody has given any hint that we'll do this or that.

Srinagar, Aug 03 (RNA): In yet another twist in the tail, Governor Satya Pal Malik has said that he doesn’t know about tomorrow, but there wasn’t anything to worry about today. In a conversation with a national News Wire, Mr. Malik said that National Conference Vice- President Omar Abdullah led delegation went back from the Governor House ‘satisfied’ and added that whatever they expected from him was done by him.
“They've gone satisfied. Whatever they expected from me I did. As far as I know, there's no inclination that something's going to happen here. I don't know about tomorrow. That's not in my hands. But till today there's nothing to worry”, ANI quoted Governor as having said.

".I've talked to everybody in Delhi&nobody has given me any hint that we'll do this or that. Somebody's saying there'll be trifurcation, somebody says Article 35 A, 370...Nobody has discussed these things with me either PM or HM" said Governor

Regarding the situation, Governor said that it was normal and only rumour mongering was going on.
“It's normal. Only rumour mongering is going on. It's a very routine thing here. If you sneeze at Lal Chowk, it becomes an explosion when it comes here. Unnecessary panic is being created by vested interests, especially some political parties.”
He also sought to clear the confusion over the government advisory asking Yatris and tourists to leave Kashmir and said, the government did not want them to fall prey to any ‘ terrorist attack’.
“It's our responsibility to see safety of pilgrims & tourists. Lot of terrorists are sitting across the Line to cross here & most of them are suicide bombers. If something happens, that will have repercussions all over country. We wanted to avoid that.” The news agency quoted Governor as having said. (RNA
