Mobile internet restored in Kargil

Jammu , Dec 27 ( RNA) : Days after Center withdrew 140 companies of additional forces from Kashmir Valley, the authorties have restored mobile internet in Kargil after 145 days on Friday. Media reports suggest that the cellular net was restored on friday after Home minster Amit Shah chaired a high level review meeting in New Delhi a few days earlier.
The services were snapped after August 05 when special status of the earstwhile state of Jammu and Kashmir was revoked and state bifercated into two union territories of Ladakh and Jammu and Kashmir. Kargil is now part of the Ladakh Union territory. There is however, no word regarding the restoration of boradband and internet services in kashmir Valley. The boradband services have already been restored in Jammu region however, the mobile internet is still blocked in this region also. ( RNA)
