‘How to crack civil services’ !!!! CCPC organised an extension lecture with Dr Syed Abid Rasheed Shah

Srinagar, Jan 11 ( RNA) : Additional Secretary, Finance Department, Dr. Syed Abid Rasheed Shah was invited by the Centre for Career Planning and Counselling (CCPC), University of Kashmir for an extension lecture on the topic ‘how to crack civil services?’ here today.
During the interactive part of the session, Dr. Abid Rasheed shared his experience and perspective regarding civil service examination.
He asked the students to understand and know why they are choosing civil services and how to plan for it. He said that consistency, sticking to goals, inquisitiveness, time management and dedication is the key to success.
He further said that proper strategy, clear perspective and motivation are three basic factors they need to work upon.
Concluding the session, Dr. Abid Rasheed said that even if aspirants fail to crack the exam in one go, they should not feel discouraged as the knowledge gained during exam preparation is enough to make one a leader and an achiever in itself. “To put it in other words, the effort does not go waste,” he added.
Speaking on the occasion, the Director CCPC, Prof. Muhammad Shafi said that the aim of conducting the session was to encourageand motivate the aspirants.
The two hours session, which included question and answer section, helped the IAS, KAS aspirants to clear their doubts.
