DC B'la takes stock of Grievance Redressal Mechanism
1709 grievences out of 1851 redressed in Time bound manner

Baramulla, March 23 ( RNA): : Deputy Commissioner Baramulla Bhupinder Kumar today chaired a meeting of concerned officers in order to take stock of current status and position of public grievances that have been received by virtue of Lieutenant Governor's specially established online grievance redressel portal.
ADDC Baramulla Aijaz Abdullah Saraf, ADC Sopore, SDMs, heads of various departments, district and sectoral officers among other concerned functionaries attended the meeting.
On the occasion, a comprehensive discussion on the subject was held wherein it was informed that about 1851 online grievances pertaining to various departments were registered among which 1709 grievances have been addressed well within the stipulated timeframe where as the remaining are in different phases of execution.
After taking a thorough review, DC stressed upon the concerned officers to ensure timely and prompt redressel of all the grievances. He said that an effective and proper grievance redressel mechanism is the corner store of a welfare administration. DC further added that administration is working with utmost zeal and dedication towards addressing the issues of people in a convenient and hassle free manner.
Moreover, DC directed the concerned officers to ensure all the registered grievances reaches at their logical conclusion within the stipulated timeframe. He also extended his appreciations to all those officers who successfully disposed all their grievances within a time bound manner.
