JK Teachers Forum Baramulla aghast over the callous attitude of management of St Joseph School Baramulla.

Baramulla May 05, 2022 (RNA) : In a statement Ishfaq Ahmad Shah District President JK Teachers Forum Baramulla expressed resentment towards the callous attitude of management body of St Joseph Higher Secondary School Baramulla towards the legitimate demands and concerns being faced by the teachers of said School. Shah said that there has been no classwork in the said school from last many days due to peaceful strike of teachers for their legitimate demands including salary increment & arrears. This suspension of classwork has directly put the career of hundreds of students, studying here at stake. He also said that an agreement was held in between teachers, parents and school administration in 2011, wherein the school administration agreed to hike the increment annually. Now the administration is denying and evading from its responsibility and forced teachers to held peaceful protest against the school administration/management. Shah while appealing to School administration said that we have been hardly limb back from pandemic which has Widened the learning gaps among students. If we allow to prolong suspension in academic activities it will add salt to the wounds.
