DDC B'la chairs a DLIC meeting for HADP & PM-Vishwakarma

Directs officers to ensure scheme benefits reach all eligible individuals


 Baramulla April 24 (RNA) : The District Development Commissioner, Baramulla, Minga Sherpa, today chaired a meeting of District Level Implementation Committee (DLIC) meeting at the DC office's conference hall, to review the progress of Holistic Agriculture Development Plan (HADP) in the district.

 
The DDC was provided with a comprehensive briefing by the officials from different departments regarding the progress made and the target achievements of various departments under HADP during the meeting.
 
Minga Sherpa, while emphasizing the importance of projects and schemes falling under the purview of HADP, directed the officers to meticulously plan and execute these projects to ensure that the set targets are achieved within the specified time frame.
 
The meeting was attended by Chief Planning Officer, Javaid Ahmad, officers from Agriculture, Horticulture, Animal Husbandary, Fisheries and other concerned departments.
 
Later, the DDC presided over a separate meeting with officers to conduct a thorough review of the implementation of the PM-Vishwakarma Scheme. The meeting was attended by the stakeholders responsible for the implementation of the scheme in the district. 
 
In the meeting, the DDC was provided a detailed briefing on the status of registrations and ongoing training programs for artisans and craftspeople across various trades such as masonry, sewing, weaving, and others. Minga Sherpa directed the officers to maximize the reach to ensure that the scheme's benefits reach all eligible individuals.
