BRIG Deepak Sajjanhar, SM, Group Commander Srinagar group NCC visits 1 Ladakh Battalion NCC, Leh

Leh, Saturday, 25 May (RNA): Brig Deepak Sajjanhar, SM visited 1 Ladakh Bn NCC and was briefed by the CO, Col HS Dhanoa about the NCC activities of the unit and the way forward to increase the footprint of the NCC in Ladakh. He apprised the Gp Cdr about the NCC activities undertaken in Ladakh by the unit and the accolades received by the unit from both the Military and Civil Administration.
Brig Deepak Sajjanhar, SM Group Commander, Srinagar Group NCC then visited Kargil on 24 May 2024. Brig Deepak Sajjanhar, SM visited Govt Degree College, Kargil and GHSS, Kargil and interacted with the ANOs and the Head of the Institutes of these schools and encouraged them promote the National Cadet Corps (NCC) program. These visits aimed to highlight the benefits of NCC enrolment, encourage student participation, and underscore the importance of disciplined, community-oriented youth.
Brig Deepak Sajjanhar, SM Group Commander, Srinagar Group NCC then visited the Annual Training Camp that is being conducted in Kargil for the first time. The distinguished guest interacted with the Cadets at the camp and encouraged them with his words and rich experience about the benefits of NCC in the region. He also informed the cadets and the staff about the new NCC Battalion being raised in Kargil.
Brig Deepak Sajjanhar, SM Group Commander, Srinagar Group NCC also visited and reviewed the location where the new NCC Battalion is being raised at Kargil.
